Tribute to Writer Sujatha

மகத்தான தமிழ் எழுத்தாளர் சுஜாதா

He is a genius multiplied.

Not enough words can describe his ability or his impact.

As a tribute, I scanned the first few pages of his first novel, NYLON KAYIRU
published in Kumudam on 15-8-1968.

This would have made him the happiest person on that date.

The novel is a very good mystery, many modern writers may call it PULP, but it
was a big bang entry for Sujatha and clearly has the mark of his strengths: wide experience,
sharp thought, flowing language, movie-like treatment of the story line and
stories about bad interesting characters., who are approached as good human beings are approached. The humane-ness going beyond good and bad marks his vision.

In short, it provided as an attention catcher for the genius who later smuggled great ideas and thoughts and science and philosophy through good sense of humor and real life observations....
and transformed a generation of young boys including me...

With tears,
RJAY
